The SIC offers free Learning Institutes for faculty and staff interested in PBL. Learning Institute participants will have the opportunity to work with the SIC to develop a PBL unit and can receive ongoing support, including assisting students as they engage in the PBL experience they designed.

SIC is currently partnering with the city of Hayward to uncover issues and opportunities citizens of South Hayward face. We will share our findings with faculty and staff who attend the Learning Institute and encourage them to consider how they can devise PBL projects that respond to the concerns community members have raised about South Hayward.
