Passion and Purpose
Inspired by the movie “The Passion Project,” 15 Chabot students create curriculum for a suite of Passion and Purpose courses: GNST 6, GNST 5A/5B. The courses support students to: investigate their passions; develop effective student success skills; get involved in campus and community initiatives
The Passion Project | The Passion Project is an ambitious and comprehensive 30 minute film that positions the concept of Passion as a central driver behind how colleges--including teachers, classrooms, and the institution itself--can best support student success.
Recycling the Gift | Recycling the Gift explores how personal passion intersects not only with the education, but also with the larger community and with Nature itself. The film weaves in Ecology as both metaphor and model for how our schools can more effectively serve students.
